Losing Steven Adams was the best thing for Trip’s game. Forced him to actually become a paint player instead of just posting up on the baseline. Then Ja’s suspension forced him to become the go to guy in the offense and his game really blossomed. He’s definitely capable of playing at that level throughout the series.
Definitely didn’t like this matchup with our centers Adams and Clark out and Davis being such a force. Hate the matchup if we don’t have Ja to make big shots down the stretch. I still think Tyus can lead this offense well enough to make it a hard fought series even if Ja is out, though. [Reply]
