That means Netflix has a full slate of projects headed its way from the MCU, but it won’t stop there. The service has new seasons of both Daredevil and Jessica Jones coming soon, and it will also welcome perhaps the grittiest of all the heroes to the neighborhood when The Punisher gets his own solo series.
Given the response from the character’s debut in Daredevil season 2, the series has been on the fast track, going from speculation to confirmation in a remarkably short amount of time. And if a new batch of set photos are any indication, it seems that production on the series has officially gotten underway in New York.

Spoiler!
Her partner got waxed
Then I was happy I watched all of it.
Now, in this show, who is the protagonist?
At first you want to say Punisher - but it isn't.
The Persian woman is. She's the person looking for solutions and trying to end it all. She's the one trying to do the right thing.
This is what I mean by subtlety. Only after the whole show is over do you get that she's the protagonist. It isn't beaten into your head. Frank is what he is.
You have to dig to see exactly how the characters map out.
And what I love the best about this show is that it is based on a comic but you could watch this and never know that. There is nothing "super hero" about this... [Reply]

Honestly, I would have loved her character solely due to how damn hot she is, but I enjoyed her story arc. [Reply]
This was really the only Marvel one that Netflix has put out that I was really into. Can't wait and I love the music they mix in with the trailers, including the first season. [Reply]

the second to last Marvel property that'll most likely be cancelled by Netflix so Disney can obtain the rights [Reply]
I just finished a marathon of all 13 episodes. This was the season I had hoped for the first go around. The finale especially is bad ass. And now I’m dragging my tired butt off to bed. [Reply]
