I know there are enough of us to participate in this thread, even when our seasons inevitably go to shit.

KSU vs Western Illinois today, tip-off at 3:00 pm.

One thing I noticed near the end of the game on Friday night - we had 5 true freshman on the court, and still played sound basketball. None of them were scrub walk-ons either. While I don't think we will make a serious run at anything this year, the foundation is being laid for a solid program in the future.

Yet, I'll take comfort in knowing that somewhere in Oklahoma, skip will be there watching his Hawks (in his 1950's JC Penney's KU letterman's jacket) and sipping on an Ensure.

Damn, I just found out that we can't line up for GameDay until 6:00 tomorrow. A few friends & I were planning on going out there around 8:00 tonight and sleeping at Bramlage. Bastards.

The one thing we've got, Nebraska is a terrible terrible team this year. As long as the guys come out with a little effort, NU should be a win.
