So does Springfield, in my experience. It must be the same kinda deal.

We used to drive up from Texas every summer and I would notice it immediately.

Big city water in Texas tastes like sewer runoff unless you filter it.

New York slowly ticking up in total cases though the increase is still slower than many expected. Unfortunately a New Yorker is dying, on average, once every 12 minutes from coronavirus.

The coronavirus has infected 26,697 and hospitalized 5,250 people in New York City and the number of patients requiring ICU treatment rose significantly over the last 24 hours. A total of 1,175 patients are in ICUs, a 37.6 percent rise from the 850 that needed such care as of Thursday evening. Seems to be settling into the 20% hospitalized and 25% of those hospitalized patients needing ventilators that were the averages quoted early on.

Only saving grace is that new infections are staying in a approx 5K-6K band rather than continuing to rise day over day.

Stockton Lake is 50 miles away but after a little research that's not wrong.

Fulbright is located on the northern edge of Springfield and is served by Fulbright Spring, the original source for the city, along with a deep well and McDaniel Lake. The Blackman plant is in the southeastern corner of the city and receives water from Fellows Lake, Stockton Lake and/or the James River.

Italy has 5,974 new cases and 889 new deaths. They thought they’d peak last weekend. Still a ways to go.

Yep — their deaths are going to be around 1000-1500 for the next couple weeks at least.

They went over 10,000 deaths today. Sad.
