It remains to be seen why the twist might be considered shocking since nobody knows what the twist is.
All that is known is that the show cannot do the same twist because it involves one or more characters that are already dead on the show, so it will be unique to the books.
Agreed that this is clearly designed to make readers feel less threatened that everything in books 6 and 7 will be spoiled on the show. [Reply]
