So there's an article on NFL network saying that Orlando Brown is expected to sign for 6 years $145 mil.
That comes to $24.16 mil/yr and makes him the highest paid offensive lineman in football. It also would give him the 19th highest salary per year in the NFL
How would you feel if that is the contract he ended up signing?
I'm fine with it. He is a top 5 LT and he's only 26 next season. A young great LT is a guy you can't let leave. [Reply]

And yeah we were figured out. Bengals proved that in the 2nd half of the championship game.
Also yeah you have Tyreek on a huge contract and Juju for one year while your defense is total shit bc you don’t have picks to get a player. You also don’t have Kinnard as a possible RT.
Sounds like off brand 2018 at best
Wait...you think the 2nd half of the game was us being figured out?
Mahomes missed a wide open Kelce twice on what could have been the game winning touchdown because we were "figured out"? [Reply]
When is the NFL franchise tag contract extension deadline?

If the player and team can’t agree on an extension by this time, the sides are ineligible to continue negotiations. The player can either play out the season on the tag or hold out until free agency again next March.

As much as I like Quinn, he's a very short-term answer. I'd much rather have their up-and-comer in Trevis Gipson. That said, I'd want a high pick and the chances of getting both are likely slim. [Reply]
