Christ. You could put dilphag9 as head coach and Bwillie as offensive coordinator and your only obstacles between KC and a superbowl is dilphag9 smashing the salary cap to bring OBJ back as an elite paid left tackle, and someone assisting Bwillie with not turning Mahomes into Lamar Jackson as he screeches for designed qb runs in favor of plays designed for the best arm in the universe.
At least he finally put it on record. I'll keep this post in mind when Andy finally steps down. [Reply]
Andy is a first ballot gold jacket HOF coach and this dipshit still won't stop.
He is.
He's a coach that won a shit ton of regular season games, and ritualistically flamed out in the playoffs, before arguably the best quarterback to EVER play the game became part of his team and he won 3 in 5 years and counting.
So either Andy had what drunks call a moment of clarity, and stopped doing Playoff Randy' reerun things.....
Or
Superman is good enough to overcome his gaffes, most of the time, that land the team in 10+ deficits on a regular basis.
We know which the Stans, and the flip floppers like you will pick.
Take an objective review of Andy Reids career and it will be blatantly obvious to anyone not in a diabetic coma what changed Andy's playoff fortunes.
Spoiler: He wears #15. He also called the play that turned the entire game in Superbowl 54. He's also the guy that put the entire team on his back and carried them with one leg to a superbowl 57 appearance, and win.
We have a guy who is better than any other qb in the league on one leg, but yeah. It's Big Red.
Mahomes is the best quarterback in the ****ing universe, and if Andy was such a legendary offensive mind, one would think he would have a far easier time scoring points in these huge games, or at the very least, not ****ing go down 10 points in 11 of 18 contests.
......
How long of a stretch did the Chiefs have where 3rd and 1 was an impossible ask?
You would take 3rd and 15 over 3rd and 1.
Why?
Quarterback.
So I ask again - are the Chiefs going to be MORE successful after Andy retires?
Fact is I'm indifferent. If Andy retired tomorrow, it doesn't really matter who takes over.
Thanks for finally answering this incredibly simple question after all these years. You could have saved your fingers an entire book's worth of typing if you weren't such a neurotic gasbag idiot.

Losing in the SB and multiple NFCCGs is not "flaming out in the playoffs." Andy took teams with an average QB and did quite well. How about doing yourself a favor and compare Andy's record without Mahomes vs Belichick's record without Brady or Walsh's record without Montana? If you do so, you'll see that Andy wins. And Mahomes was just as responsible for the offensive struggles this year as Andy. Andy was not the one who threw 14 interceptions this year. [Reply]

Enjoy your Andy Reid hatred.
I think you're actually reeruned at this point.
Do you only deal in absolutes?
I don't hate Andy Reid. Making observations about his career numbers, and criticisms of stupid things he does, doesn't equal hatred to any sane human being.
Christ you must think everyone that has good and bad to say about Andy flip flops as much as Clay does.
Try not jumping to the extreme when something is stated, if you're even capable of such an apparently nigh impossible intellectual feat.
If I say, God damn, we sure could have used the timeout wasted on a meaningless ball spot challenge in the first quarter, if Andy is going to be so reeruned as to call routes that do not go into the endzone on an all or nothing play, that does not mean that I hate Andy or want him fired.
If I say that the final drive of superbowl 57 was called to absolute perfection by Andy, it does not mean I want him here for life and he's absolved of any past gaffes.
You'd think that I, painted as an Andy Reid "hater" by you illiterate ****ing mouthbreathers would have jumped at the opportunity to go full Rabblerouser after he got blown out in 55, gosh why didn't that happen?
Because you're a ****ing reerun?
*shakes magic 8 ball* signs point to yes.
Get your handler to read this to you, oh and make sure you have your shittin pants on.
The man has the coaching career he has, and you can't say one nice fucking thing about the job he does and reduce it to, "It doesn't matter who coaches the team because cheat code QB." You're essentially doing to Andy Reid what Skip Bayless does to Mahomes. "I think he's a very good QB, but ehhhh... can we talk about that 3rd and 15 in the Niners Super Bowl? I mean, that throw is basically a lucky punt and Tyreek just happens to be right there..."
Yes, we have a cheat code QB. No, not even a cheat code QB can do it all. You still need a good coach. And even then, a good coach will probably get you 1, maaaaaybe 2 SBs. If you want a dynasty, you need a great coach. [Reply]
No, you're just a little chapped ass **** when anyone says something that isn't glowing praise about Andy Reid. It's why you jump to the insane extremes that you do. It's hilarious. Andy's playoff failures pre Mahomes are written in stone. Screech at the sky all you like. Doesn't change anything.
The man has the coaching career he has,
The one where he won a lot of regular season games and lost all the big ones pre Mahomes? That career? Well if Andy wins you 10 games and you're happy, then you're the easiest fan to please there is.
How about holding a 18 point lead for 2 quarters? That's too much to ask? OK how about 28 points for 2 quarters?
Still no? Lmfgdao.
Okay, okay, how about score more points than the opposing team, At Arrowhead, and the opposing team will not score a single touchdown. How about that?
........still no.
GREAT COACH!!
and you can't say one nice ****ing thing about the job he does and reduce it to, "It doesn't matter who coaches the team because cheat code QB.
I've stated numerous times Big Red is a good coach, and that at the very least, he will get you a shot. He may shit down both legs during that shot, but he's reliable to keep getting you a shot. If you're fine with never winning the big one, Andy's pre Mahomes career is fine.
I bet you drool over Marty too huh.
" You're essentially doing to Andy Reid what Skip Bayless does to Mahomes. "I think he's a very good QB, but ehhhh... can we talk about that 3rd and 15 in the Niners Super Bowl? I mean, that throw is basically a lucky punt and Tyreek just happens to be right there..."
Now we're getting somewhere. We've identified partially how your brain turned to shit. Skip Bayless? Probably cut back on the Skip Bayless.

And yet, Bill Belichick managed to win 6 with Brady while doing absolutely **** all before and after Brady. He's a career turd without TB12. Unless you really do believe that Bill Belichick is some great coach, which at this point I wouldn't put past you.
Do keep in mind though, that absolute legend, this dynasty creator Bill Belichick, didn't get a coaching job for next sessin. That's how great that turd is.
As much as I'd love to know for sure you're right and experience a Marvel "What If?" scenario, it's irrelevant. Andy isn't going anywhere for 15s prime.
Why would he?
That would be dumber than surrendering one of your two challenges and a timeout on a ball spot beef in the first quarter of an AFC title game. [Reply]

This is a statement from a man who doesn't hate Andy Reid, ladies and gentlemen... [Reply]

How many championships did:
Lombardi win without Starr?
Noll win without Bradshaw?
Walsh without Montana?
Jimmy Johnson without Aikman?
Bill without Brady?
These were all the dynasties of their respective times, so that should put these coaches up there in the greatest ever conversation. How many of those coaches won without a HOF QB? Your argument would hold merit if these coaches won without their HOF QBs. It doesn't which just goes to show that you have an ax to grind with Reid and nothing more. [Reply]
