Kansas City is trading its first-round pick Thursday night, along with three other picks in the 2021 and 2022 drafts, to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for Pro Bowl OT Orlando Brown and one pick in the 2021 draft and another in 2022, per sources.

Yikes!
To be fair, Soren works in local sports OTA radio in a midwestern city. Gotta sell ads. He'd be better off with 20 minutes of PFF than the best analyst in the world doing soccer, for example. [Reply]

Completely forgot that there's an A++
Leading up to the trade itself, I would have graded it a solid B. I wasn't totally sold on the idea but I was talking about it mostly because I was so against trading up for a tackle in the draft.
After reading the articles and watching the press conferences, I have to agree. This was an A+ trade all the way around. [Reply]

Also to be fair Soren disagreed with Eric Eager when he first spewed this nonsense.
Eager also didn't know about the second round pick after he pissed on the trade. After that nothing left to do but double down on the idiocy [Reply]
I was not a proponent of trading for Brown. But I also didn’t think that they would get him for the deal that they did. Plus I’m an idiot and forgot about his days of playing LT at Oklahoma. [Reply]
Those PFF guys are fucking retards. I listened to their 2017 NFL draft podcast. They just LOVED the pick of Corey Davis at #5. "The pairing of Corey Davis and Marcus Mariota is a match made in heaven. He's an annual 100 reception a year guy" They also loved the John Ross pick and absolutely hated the Steelers taking Juju Smith-Schuster.
I love that they said this because that means the trade was a 500 foot home run for the Chiefs. Take anything they say and the opposite is true. [Reply]

Yeah, he was already knee deep in the hole he dug which is too bad because the trade for Brown was not only a good one but getting a 2nd rounder back was pure genius. [Reply]
How does PFF rate him as 25th best? Trying to the see the logic here. He gave up zero sacks as a LT and is considered a better run blocker than pass blocker so what gives? [Reply]
