Nzoner's Game Room>****2018-2019 Official NBA Regular season thread****
dirk digler 05:23 PM 10-16-2018
Didn't see anybody starting this thread so I guess I will.

Anti climatic season starts tonight and my prediction is GS vs Boston in the NBA Finals.

First 2 Games tonight on TNT with Philly vs Boston and OKC vs GS. Westbrook is out tonight so that game will be a blowout most likely.

Seems like the false equivalence fallacy to me but what do I know.
Yeah those guys sucked. I don't know why LeBron predicted winning 7+ championships and why he thought winning would be easy with those bums.

Isiah Thomas and Laimbeer are both huge pieces of shit. I think everyone with a brain cell can at least agree on that.

I can’t believe anyone took that bet. I’m feeling pretty good about it.
Why the hell would anyone bet against GS and give someone an injury out on top of it? With LeBron going to the Lakers Warriors were clearly the overwhelming favorite to win it all again. They didnt lose any key players and no contender really improved that much in the offseason.

Bad bet by your coworker. If I were you id look to keep betting him in the future..

I can’t believe he took it. I’m really hoping KD misses just game 1 and plays the rest of the series.

you are dealing with the biggest Lebron ball washer next to Nick Wright so your not going to get honest talk regarding Lebron James. Actually your not going to get honest NBA talk cause every time he enters the thread its all about lebron even if the current discussion has nothing to do with Lebron. He obsessed with lebron being the greatest ever and second place is light years away and his posts follow that narrative.

Which is why he also obsesses about Durant. KD ended all hope he had that Lebron would obtain GOAT status by blocking his NBA titles and finals MVPs. Right now as many people think Kobe is the GOAT as they do Lebron and you are talking an extreme minority...maybe 10% each.

Just joining up with two other top 10 players at the time might have that effect. Saying Bosh wasn’t a superstar at the time is just revisionist history.

Do people not actually remember what Chris Bosh was? Because I do. I had to watch his soft play for over a half decade.

At the time he signed with Miami, he ranked 14th in WS/48 (behind Nene, Bynum and Horford), 39th in the league in BPM (behind Troy Murphy), and 37th in VORP (behind Jared Dudley and Boris Diaw). He was not a superstar/top 10 player, he wasn't even close to it. If he was, the Raptors probably would have won 50 games and/or a playoff round at some point during his 7 year stint there.

Bosh made 11 straight all star teams. That's not too bad.

The lengths KCC goes will go to to suck Lebron’s dick never ceases to amaze me.

I still think he’s Nick Wright.
