Clemson WR Justyn Ross is signing with the #Chiefs to their 90-man roster, per source.
Ross led the ACC in receiving as a freshman in 2018, ranked fifth nationally with 21.7 YPC and was second in receiving touchdowns. He also stands 6-3, 210 pounds. High quality addition for
Guys what's all the fuss about? BYRON PRINGLE AND DAURICE FOUNTAIN made the KC roster over the last three years. Ross's physical history is well documented and imo the kid is on a journey right now.
1. He's two years removed from his neck surgery.
2. He's one year removed from his foot surgery
So right now his first challenge is to make it through camp healthy and then get through the warm up games.
We won't know his true speed until we see him on the field because the lines are blurred because of his previous foot issues.
The bottom line is we have a 6'4, 23 year old kid who has been in the system for a year and had two seasons In college where he was very productive and performed on the biggest stage on the way to winning a championship.
We can project what we think he will be all we want but what we do know is he's working in camp and Andy, Pat and the WR coach have spoken highly of him.
Justyn Ross can be summed up by one sentence.."let's wait and see". Fullstop. [Reply]

Peter Schrager picked Justyn Ross as one of his top 5 breakout WRs in 2023! When he speaks I listen he was all over the Justin Watson making the Chiefs final roster last year, and he knows Chiefs football! All aboard the hype train! #ChiefsKingdom 🚂💨💨pic.twitter.com/8hmE0XtcZg

Any link to Schrager saying this?
Because if he's saying it, it's based on what he's hearing from the Chiefs FO. [Reply]
