He's a nobody.

Another expendable player you prop up to be one of the best in the league like Ronnie Hillman or Brock Assweiler.

He's a nobody.
He came in as an UDFA and kind of slipped through the cracks until he made a name for himself in Washington.

He's the third best free agent defensive lineman, according to PFF, only Calais Campbell and Kawann Short have a higher grade. His PFF grade is 30 points higher than Poe's.

7. Chris Baker, DI

Baker has been extremely impressive for Washington over the past two seasons, and has seen his playing time ramped up in response. Last year saw him on the field for a career-high 782 snaps, and also match his career high in total pressures with 42, while posting the best grade in run defense of his career. Baker is a big body that has shown the ability to play all three downs and be a factor against the run and pass over the past two years, and could be a big addition to some team’s defensive line in more ways than one.

#Broncos expected to place second-round tenders on restricted free agents Todd Davis and Brandon McManus. @DenverChannel

Isn't the Chiefs kicker an RFA too? I wonder if Dorsey will slap the second round tender on him.

Winning this should be easy. He said entire history. That should include posts you haven't made yet, so just criticize the next move Denver makes.

I could actually mean it too if Denver signs Danny Woodhead. :-)

Woodhead is a nice back but not sure how he fits Denver. I could see NE or someone like KC as well because they use backs all over the place.

I kind of want Christian McCaffery to happen and Woodhead could stop that from happening. McCaffery fills three needs for Denver and I really don't want to see him wind up in NE.

James Palmer

Based on 2016 end-of-season rosters, the #Broncos acquired 67.8% of their roster via FA. Highest such % in the NFL. Bengals lowest (35.5%)

This is what happens when you draft poorly

I'd pick a better comparison... I'll take Broncos over Bengals any day.

And they just won the SB a year ago.

5 division titles in 6 years, two Super Bowl appearances, 1 Super Bowl win, #1 offense in NFL history in 2013, top 5 all-time defense in 2015...

This is what happens when you don't overpay players like Tamba Hali, Dwayne Bowe, Eric Fisher, and LDT.

Elway's first two drafts are vastly superior to any single draft Dorsey has had btw.

I'd still like to see a team by team comparison. I wish Denver nailed the draft better, but if you fail there... you better be willing to spend $ in FA and they have done just that, hell they did that back in the 90s and it paid off.

You have to find a good balance.
