I'll always hate this format as long as non conference winners are allowed into a playoff. It's a pretty simple concept. I can't compare a big 12 team to an sec team without the eye test. The only way to compare them is to put a bunch of teams with similar schedules and pick the division winner. The conference championship should be a playoff game. I don't care if we move to an 8 team playoff or stick with 4. We just need to get rid of non conference winner. I don't care how well Bama played. The fact that the tiebreaker isn't head to head, same conference record, etc... Is a sham. This isn't figure skating. And yes, psu clearly should have been in over osu last year even though osu also passed the eye test last year [Reply]
