Either him or Elmarko.

I know the opponent wasn’t any good, but I’m extremely impressed with Elmarko’s complete control of the game. His vision and distributing looks very natural.

If he is any threat from 3, he’s any NBA point.

I also think KJ Adams is the best NFL prospect on the team. Jimmy Graham 2.0

I would suggest watching Dillon Wilhite a few more times.

KJ Adams - A poor man's Zion Williamson. Just so much power, so much athleticism. Only undersized and can't shoot. It's early and spacing is still going to be an issue but him and Hunter work well together offensively. That may come at a cost vs teams that defend well but it works fine vs bad defenses.

Hunter "Big Dick" Dickinson - No exaggeration he really is a great post passer. Missed a bunch of bunnies but he just knows how to play. Comes easy for him.

Parker Braun - I just looked at his Santa Clara stats from previous years and I'll admit I under estimated him. He's a similar player to his brother as in he's very raw athletic and you wonder why he actually isn't better. If Hunter was as athletic as Parker he would be a 1st round draft pick. Nice garbage man, easy to throw alley-oops, runs the floor well.

Elmarko Jackson - He seems like he is more of a point guard than a combo guard. Super quick. Gets to his spots easily, just needs to work on his craft and skill a bit. He's going to be a good one. Nice to see a 3 go in. Could be our slasher and go to scorer when we need a tough bucket with more seasoning.

DaJuan Harris - Same ol' same ol' and that is a good thing. Know what you are going to get. Pesky. Heady. Experienced.

Kevin McCullar - The teams MVP this year if you ask me. He's going to struggle sometimes shooting the ball but I expect him to up his 3 FG% a couple points this year. He seems more confident and smooth inside the arc as well.

Johnny Furphy - If this game is any indication, he is a future offensive star. Quick shot. Beautiful stroke. Honestly he doesn't jump off the screen athletically but he's very long. Aggressive offensively and confident.

Jamari McDowell - This guy has the potential to be the best on ball defender KU has in the next 3 years after McCullar graduates. Super high defensive potential. This is the perfect college player who's going to be here multiple years and increase his value to the program every year.

Nicolas Timberlake - He had an awful game. He was putrid defensively. He seemed like he was not patient and hunting his shot. He made a nice pull up but it wasn't pretty. Looks to really struggle passing the ball as well. I've seen him play much better in the Puerto Rico games and 1 of the 2 exhibitions but this wasn't his day. If Furphy, Elmarko and McDowell are who they looked tonight I would unfortunately expect his minutes to decrease.

Jank's kid - Might be the best shooter on the team. 2-2 in 3 FG. QUICK FRIGGIN RELEASE. May actually get spot minutes in certain games when we have 15-20 point leads believe it or not.

You need a relatively tall piece of shit for practice fodder. This scrub team would fucking destroy any scrub team of the last 15 years, by alot.

That guy couldn't even destroy me and I've been out of basketball shape for years now. I'm not even sure he can jump.

It's 230am in Chicago. Bill Self wakes up in some ritzy hotel, rubs his balls, stumbles to the toilet and takes a nice piss to empty out the 3 sweet teas he undoubtedly drank. Thats what greatness looks like.

Bill Self is an OG. Look at how well all of the guys he convinced to happily leave are doing at their new schools

I’d still like Udeh as a bench big, but he clearly wasn’t going to accept that role.

Man, I whiffed bad on MJ Rice. He’s been a horrible college player.

Wow. Man, I would think Udeh would be doing better than 1 point a game. Perhaps it is just guys learning to adapt on a new team. Or perhaps they simply aren't as good as we thought.
