The owner doesn't try.
And, of course, Pujols set all the milestones against us.
Oh well, I can't hate him. He was amazing to watch in his prime. [Reply]
That Mo is one shrewd dealer. I'm sure glad he traded Randy Arozarena for Liberatore. Every time I see him pitch I'm reminded of the price we paid for him and it makes me feel a little bit of hate in my heart. [Reply]
We got to see the best 11 years a baseball player has ever had in the history of the game. Then as an encore in his 40's, play at an All-Star level in the second half of the season to finish his career in a Cardinal uniform.
Pujols reminded me that watching greatness on your team, in the stands and even sitting on your couch, doesn't come along that often. Cherish it because its rare.:-) [Reply]

For many years, Pujols was my all time favorite player in any sport. Something about the guy...so smooth, so awesome, just a total badass. Always went to the Cards games when they were in town. Those were some great Cardinals teams 15-20 years ago punctuated by the Machine. [Reply]

They seriously couldn't have played this game after pm? Good lord Manfred, having playoff games start at 11am on a work day is stupid. Only college basketball can pull it off. [Reply]
