After having just binge-read the comics over the past week, man, they've had to cut & re-write a lot of stuff; also:
Spoiler!
Negan is going to be difficult to portray, as some version of the word "fuck" is the basis of his entire vocabulary. Also, in reading the parts when Ezekiel talks, I hear the words in my head in Morgan Freeman's voice.
I'm thinking Negan will not show up until the season 6 mid-season finale or even the season 6 finale
Spoiler!
There's almost an entire season's worth of material that they will have just on the walkers breaching Alexandria's fence, meeting Jesus, and going to the hilltop, all before Negan comes along.
If my memory is fuzzy, let me know, but in an episode after Terminus, I think season 4, there was a flashback with Gareth and his "family" in a railcar, and a guy opens the door, and takes Gareth's sister. That guy looked an awful lot like Kevin Durand, pictured above, although he's not credited in the show. Does anyone else remember that, or is my memory off?
In the comics, he's already with the group at this point, so unless he's been on-set recently, I'[ll go with speculation
Spoiler!
Morgan has been verified by numerous cast and crew as appearing in the opening scene of this week's finale. Didn't know if you knew that or were guessing

I haven't heard anything, but it makes sense. They put him in a cameo a while back, and not doing anything else with him this season makes no sense. [Reply]

Think real hard why I might have even thought to ask. :-) Then, read my spoiler above your post

I hadn't heard anything about it, I was just guessing myself, but it would be neat to see him again.
Total speculation from a non comic reader: Rick gets kicked out and Morgan finds him. They survive together as a duo for awhile before either the takeover or the destruction of Alexandria. [Reply]
