Kansas City is trading its first-round pick Thursday night, along with three other picks in the 2021 and 2022 drafts, to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for Pro Bowl OT Orlando Brown and one pick in the 2021 draft and another in 2022, per sources.

We traded for OBJ because he demanded to play LT, and the Ravens said, "Well I guess we'll have to trade you, then..." Had he not done that, he wouldn't have been available. Veach likely would be looking to the draft like a bunch of us thought he would. And no, he probably wasn't going to trade the farm just to move up enough spots to take the 3rd or 4th best OT available.

I completely recognize the tough spot they were in after not getting Williams. They tried, and I appreciate that. But this really is do or die. Not interested in excuses. IMHO you CAN do both and over pay a bit to justify protecting your Lamborghini who wins you championships. Huge cap space with no Lamborghini QB doesn't win you crap.
