Figure this would have a better chance of surviving in the Media Center than on the main page, and I'll be adding youtube and podcast links from time to time as I come across them, so it fits.
This has been something that's interested me from a very young age, all aspects of mysterious stuff, whether we're talking forgotten or forbidden archeology or civilization (Atlantis, pre-colombian exploration of america, etc), unexplained events (like Tunguska in 1908, the lost Roanoke Island colony, etc), paranormal events like ghosts, the study of ESP and that sort of thing, conspiracy (ranging from JFK to stuff like the perpetration of the drug war and the infilitration of the media by US intelligence) and, of course, UFOs (which to me means "unexplained" not "extraterrestrial" but that's a whole other topic).
Anything could show up, and everybody should feel free to add whatever they like. Just try to keep it as civil and respectful as possible. This is not intended to be a DC thread; it's as much for entertainment purposes as it is to solve all the world's mysteries.
**Although if anybody posts anything from Third Phase of Moon they should probably expect me to kick them in the balls.**
Few things I like to watch or listen to in no particular order (most of this can be found on itunes as well...):

No. It has not. This has been a "Christian nation" since the 1950s when they propped up Communism as this Godless Atheist threat to everything good and Christian, and forced "God" into the pledge and onto money and into every other nook and cranny they could find. It's social engineering built on fear.
And it's, of course, the exact same thing they're doing right now with "Global warming isn't real/Science is bad!" "Don't vote for them, they're all socialists!" and that favorite old ditty "They want to take our guns!"
And that fear mongering works really great with a certain segment of the population, enough to get a president elected with a platform that amounts to little more than fear and vitriol.
Oh boo fucking hoo. And not every founding father of this nation was Ben Franklin or Thomas Jefferson. [Reply]

I'm not getting into this any further. Said my piece, think it's enough to get my point across and I don't want this thing devolving into a DC thread. Just in general I try to avoid the topics of politics and religion, because I think nowadays it's next to impossible to have a civilized discussion about either one and I apologize if I violated anybody's sensibilities with my comments. [Reply]
Art Bell was the best. And he did it without really interjecting himself or his own opinions into the broadcast. He'd put, literally, anybody on the air and just keep handing them more and more rope.
That's why, for me, Coast to Coast doesn't work with George Noory. He's too invested personally. And yeah, he's pretty dull to listen to, but it's just too much about pushing stuff he believes in instead of just getting weird ideas and stories out there for their own sake.
But nobody does it like Art did, and probably nobody ever will. [Reply]

I guess you didn't avoid the subjects hard enough. [Reply]

Yeah boy, one whole post in a 1000+ plus post thread. And maybe one post on the DC forum in the last ten years. Really hammering that political and/or religious stuff, I am. [Reply]
So to get back on topic, anybody remember Oumuamua from a couple years ago? There is another. This one was discovered by an amateur astronomer at the end of August, hit the news cycle late last week.

:-) Yeah you sounded real reasonable and logical with that crazed rant. [Reply]

It's been interesting, that's for sure. I mean, I thought it'd be kind of obvious I'm done talking about it, and I even apologized, which is about as much of a make good as I can do on a forum, but they just can't seem to let it go. And that's fine. It's not like I'm obligated to keep responding [Reply]
