As for the Broncos. Why do I think that they are going to be bad to mediocre? Well, let's see. For starters, they just finished a mediocre season that was closer to bad considering that they dropped 4 of their last 6. Their offensive line is among the worst in the NFL. Their defensive line isn't much better. They had virtually no offense last year. Maybe McCoy can fix that, but I doubt it. He got the San Diego job because of what his offense did with Fivehead. And we all know that Fivehead had way more to do with that offense than McCoy. Fivehead is gone now, so I don't expect great things.
Furthermore, They just let Wade Phillips, one of the best DC's in the business walk to promote a young, unproven coach to his spot. Maybe the guy can maintain what Phillips brought to the table, but I have my doubts. Lots of promising assistants have failed in the NFL.
Then there is the new head coach. I really don't see why he was so highly regarded. He has been a DC for one year in Miami, and frankly, hos defense was nothing to brag about. He doesn't strike me as anything special. Just because he interviewed well doesn't mean that he will be a good head coach.
Face it, the Donks have way more questions than answers in their future to have the confidence that you delusional fans have, Mediocrity......your home is Dungver now. And that's if just some of your questions are actually answered. Denver could very well be Oakland of the past decade bad.
Done commenting about the earth but LOL.

The rest is 100% wishful thinking on your part. The Denver Broncos are not a mediocre franchise like the Kansas City Chiefs. These moves/changes aren't happening on a whim. Holes in the roster will be addressed very quickly, you can count on that.

Take out everything that isn't in bold and you have a reasonable post. I mean, really. Who is being wishful? Your team has made a bunch of changes. Those changes could work out, but they may not. That is simply the truth, and basically what I said. You guys think that Joe Wood is going to be better than Wade Phillips, that Vance Joseph will be a good or great coach, and that Mike McCoy will be able to revamp the offense. You also assume that ElFraud will draft a bunch of studs in the draft, and between the draft and free agency will be able to fill all of the holes on that team in the offseason. Now come on, which one of us sounds like wishful thinking?

I remember Bronco fans saying Brock and then Semen would be awesome simply bc "Elway rocks and the Broncos are a better franchise that strides for elite QB's unlike the Chiefs."

Hilarious seeing both Brock and Semen flame out horribly this year

I actually think that Siemian can be a half decent QB. They're going to need to fix the offensive line and run game though.

Seems to me that regardless of whether the Donks new coaches are good or not (hopefully, not), there are just too many changes being made at once to ensure any type of continuity. It's gonna take 'em awhile to get the new schemes, procedures, etc in place.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs kick butt!

Yeah, Run, this looks to spell trouble for the Broncos for awhile. EVEN if these guys are good (hardly a record to go on), there's a ton of "newness" going on in that organization. And, I'd bet DJs left one that not all of these guys are gonna pan out as great coaches/players. Heck, they'll be lucky if ANY of 'em turn out to be top notch.

Miami just went to the playoffs under very similar circumstances, and Vance Joseph will have a much better OC than Gase had.

Alex Smith is the one in playoffs and Siemian is sitting home on the couch.

I'll take the one that owned your defense in both games this season.

Broncos finalizing offensive blockbuster: McCoy as OC; Bill Musgrave as QB coach. Big for Joseph/Elway to get that kind of talent. #9sports

This is why Bill Musgrave’s interview was never called off. Big-time staff. https://t.co/D6olgfAWnr

Cleveland, Buffalo had expressed interest in Bill Musgrave as OC. Almost set to become Broncos' QB coach. #9sports

Broncos are such a class organization that coaches take a demotion for the chance to work here. :-)
