Lets say Mahomes completes 400 passes this year, how do you see the catches breaking down? For me I see 200 catches off the board instantly because of Kelce and Hill. After that I have:
Hardman: 50 catches
CEH: 50 catches
Powell: 35 catches
Robinson: 35 catches
That leaves 30 catches for the rest of the players combined.
I wasn't disagreeing with you, only providing validation to your comment that the TE2 isn't going to get that many chances. But given the same opportunites as last year, the absolute best scenario is that he catches 20. That's a little over 1 catch a game.

If we really want to be honest with ourselves, absolute best case scenario is that he catches only around 10-15 balls. If he catches more, then something has gone wrong with Hill, Kelce, Hardman, CEH, etc.

I did read something a couple weeks after the draft, that the Chiefs plan on resting Kelce more this season. I can see Noah getting a lot of 4th qtr action depending on how many points we’re up. It would be wise to save Kelce for the playoffs and get Noah accumulated as soon as possible. [Reply]
