Seems like our type of FA pickup this time of the year. Great player Already has his bag. Maybe they want a chance at a ring now and will work on the cheap to get to that team. We have certainty did that for several high level players already, [Reply]
At this point, Cook basically has a detachable, artificial shoulder that comes bundled with his pads but he'd still look great in the Chiefs' backfield. [Reply]
Surely he wants a Ring...he will have to pay the Iron Price Chiefs Tax. Love his ability...still had plenty juice when I watched last year, esp. vs. Muffalo [Reply]
The one concern we should have is why exactly is MIN just releasing him if he is healthy? Shouldn't they have tried to trade Cook instead, and tried to get some compensation for a top-10 RB that just came off his 4th consecutive 1,000+yd season? [Reply]

They did, no one wanted to give up anything for his contract...they just traded Zadarius Smith for basically a ham sandwich.
Minnesota has some serious cap issues, they walked on Eric Kendricks, traded Smith, releasing Cook, they reworked Cousins deal but he's out after this year and they have to find money for Jefferson.
That team is about to go into full and total rebuild. [Reply]

Ah, okay thx.
Well, I still think Cook will demand more than KC can afford, but man, would it be nice to have him in red and gold. [Reply]
