2023 – A new beginning for the Royals. Matt Quatraro era begins. A year to see which of our young players will make up the core going forward. Can Bobby Witt Jr become a superstar SS or will go to the hot corner? Will Brady Singer take the next step forward? Will Salvy be Salvy? Will Big Vin or Pratto take first base? Will they find a position for MJ? Who else emerges from the youth movement? Not to mention the development of the new downtown stadium.

Bauer would be a great signing and it isn't too farfetched - he might be looking for a one-year deal in a low-key place or just find that he doesn't have many suitors. KC was where he rage-threw the ball over the centerfield wall while getting pulled from the game. That's just good showmanship!

Probably shouldn't expect it though, no one has done any real research on this case and just thinks he's a rapist shithead. The Royals aren't likely to pursue any deal like that because well yea...
I mean in reality the Royals should be all over Aroldis Chapman too just to rehab and trade him but of course that won't happen either. [Reply]
Sources: All AAA parks to use electronic strike zone in '23
The electronic strike zone will be used in all 30 Class AAA parks in 2023, sources told ESPN, seemingly another significant step toward the implementation of the technology at the big league level in the near future.
The Automatic Balls and Strikes system, commonly referred to as ABS, will be deployed in two different ways. Half of the Class AAA games will be played with all of the calls determined by an electronic strike zone, and the other half will be played with an ABS challenge system similar to that used in professional tennis.
