Wasn’t sure where to post this or i even should but I though it was a nice gesture worth sharing here goes , my 13 year sons teammate passed away this summer from a stroke , he had been in rehab for multiple months after suffering one stroke in March , great kid , nice family.
Overall it is a pretty shitty story but this week after being contacted by a family friend EA sports decided to create a card/player and added to the NHL 21 game .so now all his teammate and family an play with him ., nice gesture from EA and can maybe somehow help the family cope .
I was wondering how ESPN+ would factor in and just assumed those assholes would take the games normally on NBCSN and force you to subscribe..... I wonder if the "1000+ games on ESPN+" means it's replacing Center Ice/NHL.tv? [Reply]

Well, reddit seems to think NHL.tv is dead... if ESPN+ sticks around $5-10/month, it's a win for the price difference. [Reply]
That was funny, without the other angle, you never would've known how it went in.
Here's a similar one from Saturday night. It initially looks like he tips the puck in with his glove, then comes another angle:
This move might mean that the NHL gets a higher national billing than Women's college badminton. Not too shabby. TNT should hire Don Cherry & Jeremy Roenick as an analysts. They're both available. [Reply]
