There was just too much heat on 810 nationwide to not do this. Plus what are the chances the Chiefs reminded 810 that there was another local spots talk station in town? [Reply]

I'll tell you who this started with.
About 500 Chiefs fans on twitter losing their shit because KK said what he said.
One of those 500 was Shaggy Shane and he pestered me ALL DAY LONG on Monday to post shit publicly.
So I did.
And then the ArrowheadGuys.com dudes blew it up and it kept blowing up and got even bigger and more outrageous and then we did it again two days later.
Almost every one of their sponsors and advertisers had been contacted by multiple people.
Interestingly, a lot of those companies had employees (both management and others) who were just as incensed about this situation as the listeners and fans. I kinda think they understood why KK had to go ... it was an egregious thing to say on multiple levels ... dissing Wally, the Chiefs organization, Tyreek, addiction, suicide, private family matters ... on and on ... he hit a lot of buttons with one ignorant, callous, cruel, egomaniacal paragraph. And people didn't like it one bit.
There may yet be hope for humanity. And maybe ... just maybe ... the Star and C5 also got the message.
