Zuby is way better than I expected. The 5 looks really good, at least defensively. Udeh still clearly has the highest upside. We should be able to play good post defense though. [Reply]
KU shot 10% better than Duke and had 13 more assists, so it would have been a shame to have lost it due to rebounds/loose balls and bad turnovers. Fortunately, their greater experience came through at the end to close it out.
It does look for now like Wilson has taken a bit of a step forward this year. We'll see if he can start making more 3s. [Reply]

He has a tremendous knack for timing blocked shots. [Reply]

I was really impressed with all the young guys' capacity to deal with physical play. Most of the time freshman struggle with that because they haven't ever had to deal with it, at least from commensurate athletes. As physical as that was, it is difficult to keep composure, and they did.
That is optimistic. Mostly because that's what the rest of the B12 has as a gameplan. [Reply]
They finally put Gradey in and he hits the biggest 3 of the game.
KU was down 1 and Duke had the ball. Here at Gainbridge Fieldhouse they played my late dad's favorite song that he sang on his death bed "Sweet Caroline". I turned to everyone and said. This is OVER. KU just won. [Reply]
