Yea probably the same thing. It's called Alaea salt so maybe similar?

I just get warm and fuzzy thinking it's from Hawaii, so I it must say Hawaiian salt on it.

I pretty much eat them every night. Get some olive oil in a pan. These are the large frozen bags of veggies from Costco. I buy this bag and the Stir-fry one. Both very good. Cook until almost done. Last 5 minutes I season with some type of large chunk Hawaiian salt. Not this brand but it's what it looks like.

On the list. And I usually buy two bags of mixed veggies at Costco, awesome deal. Much goes into smoothies, but we're a veggie family, so the bags go rather quickly.

For lunch today I'm doing country fried steak (not chicken fried). Then tonight I'm doing chorizo and potato burritos with a fresh tomatillo salsa.

You're going to have to educate me on the difference between country fried and chicken fried.

And it's good to see you getting into mexican food :-)

I like Mexican once in awhile.

Chicken fried is dredged in flour, egg, flour and fried. Like fried chicken. Covered wth white gravy.

Country fried is usually single dredged in flour, fried, and then braised in brown gravy.

That looks legit, the tomatillo salsa completes it

I don't think I've ever had it before. Made it this morning. Not sure how I feel about it by itself, but it's really tasty with the chorizo and potato.

Tomatillo sauce is my fav. I like it chopped and mashed not blended and never from a jar.

I have some ghost peppers, sliced about 1/64" thin, that would go good with that.

It has a great look certainly is not runny, I mean it's hard to judge the texture but looks great 2 me.
