He needs time to develop, but it would be ****ing stupid at this point to let Jones walk and hope that Saunders "figures it out" and turns into what his potential says he can be.

Doesn't bother me not to draft for need especially at that point in the draft. DL can be rotated in. Depth always helps. [Reply]
Any explanation for why shurmur saw #3 qb snaps? Henne looked like complete garbage, and starting to really wish we could have seen more of what Lytton could do. Why did we waste our time with shurmur who seems to be competing more for a coaching position than a legit roster spot? [Reply]

LOL ...
My sentiments exactly, Mr. ILChief.
The NFL is making its case for an 18-game regular season. I don't know which part is more pathetic; the games or the punditry trying to "analyze" the games.
At this point, I'm simply hoping that some of the young players are benefiting from the playing time.
Yeah, with the rules protecting QB's, an 18 game season seems like a realistic option.
-Expand the rosters to 60
-Play 18 regular season games
-Add one more playoff round.
Get rid of the pre-season entirely, or make it 1-2 games with low ticket prices, where you only play your backups to figure out who you want to keep. [Reply]
