.
If Veach and Reid thought he didn't have an NFL skill-set, he wouldn't be there, full stop.
Is it a bottom of the roster type skill-set or a top end skill-set? No idea.
But if he didn't belong, he wouldn't be there. [Reply]
Mecole and JuJu gone. No free veteran free agent WRs signed. One WR drafted. We've got a spot open and I won't be surprised if Justyn Ross makes his first catch in our season opener. [Reply]

We signed Rich James.
Toney
MVS
Sky
Rice
James
Watson
He is going to have to beat out Watson or James to get a spot. [Reply]

Agreed. I'm more inclined to think we will dump Watson for Ross (if the merit is there) but I could see them only carrying 3 TE and 7 WR. [Reply]

Watson's a pretty useful security blanket, I don't know. He has the size and speed and experience in the offense to literally fill in for anyone, anywhere, and also plays Teams. [Reply]

Pretty much been my thinking. 6’3 240 and short arms he’s built for the role he plays plus filling in at FB. They can also lineup allegretti or whoever to blow a hole open in short yardage. The undrafted RB from Tulsa being 220 is nice as well for short yardage stuff. [Reply]
