Timberlake going 1-5 isn’t what he’s been. He’s a career 38% 3 point shooter and he’s been 40+ the last two years. Furphy was 0-2 and he projects as a big time shooter. He’s barely practiced, so I didn’t expect much.
Jankovich, Clemence, Evers, and Braun combined to go 1-8 from 3, so none of that matters at all. Braun is the only one who will play and it’ll just be spot duty off the bench.
If Timberlake is what he’s been and Furphy becomes what he can be, we have no worries from 3. [Reply]
McCullar is probably the best defensive player in the country and Harris is probably the best defensive guard in the country. Dickinson is a problem defensively against any team that goes small (and teams will do that frequently against us), but they'll figure that side out with those guys. [Reply]
