Unless Leipold hits a grand slam this year and wins double digit games or something, beating an OU or Baylor in the process, I don’t see that happening.
Nebraska will want a big splash and a “safe” bet to sell to their entitled fanbase that is starving for success. A guy who won in D3, followed by a few 8+ win seasons at Buffalo, and one decent year at KU probably isn’t a guy they’d be ready to throw huge money at, especially while paying Frost’s $15 million buyout.
Face it, you’re bound to end up with another scrub, while watching KU win more than Nebraska has in years. Haha. [Reply]
