I hope the broadcast is on another station besides KCTV5. Not only are they on my shit list, but Dish and Meredith are feuding and the last time Dish feuded with someone local, we were out about a month. Not to mention no HBO for over 4 months. Before anyone talks about streaming, we don't have anything nice like cable or DSL here in the woods. [Reply]
I could see D Train rush for 1000 yards this year and catch passes for 1000 yards with 15 to 18 TD's combined. I think he is going to be a lot more involved in the offense than people think. Teams are going to think blitzing Mahomes every down is going to work, but we will just kill them with short passes to DTrain, Watkins, Reek, and Kelce smashing holes in the middle of the field. I've been busy and slacking this week. I missed great Chiefs like Marcus Allen and Priest Holmes and great homeless looking dudes who did nothing for 2 years. But today, with 28 days left until the first preseason game, there is an all time great who wore the number 28 for the Chiefs. The first, and the only player to wear 28. The great Abner Haynes.
Haynes led the American Football League in rushing yards and touchdowns his first three seasons, but he was a wonder any time he got the ball. Consider the following:
He rushed 794 times for 3,814 yards and 39 touchdowns, giving him a 4.8 yards/carry average.
He caught 199 passes for 2,739 yards and 19 touchdowns.
He returned 55 punts for 598 yards and 52 kicks for 1,326 yards and 1 touchdown. [Reply]

I wanted to post a video of Haynes but just couldn't find one I liked from 1960. I wonder if the Chiefs regret retiring that number. It's a pretty cool number. [Reply]
Larry Johnson is the only notable player to wear 27 that I can recall. Hunt, obviously, but with his short time here and the circumstances under which he left, I'm excluding him. I believe that Tyvon Branch also wore 27 while he was here. [Reply]
