Yeah I read a couple of articles about how and why his exit happened. We don’t have a starter job for him. We are not so good that we can put a dead bat in the everyday lineup for past performance and nostalgia. [Reply]
Heard this idea tonight on sports radio - Cardinals offer up Carpenter and prospect or two for Pujols to the Angels. Reason if you are going to have a shitty backup 1b at least bring someone who will bring in some money. Thoughts? [Reply]

I wish we would just "dump" or shit without bring in some other shit. I do support bringing Pujols in for a one-day contract so he can retire a Cardinal though. Anything beyond that, Nah.
On the mention of making some money. Of course, that is all good and well, except they will not reinvest that money in the roster. So, fuck that, the only thing it could do is keep Mo here longer. [Reply]

DeWitt prints money at Busch stadium. Been to a game lately (pre rona)? It's like going to an amusement park. [Reply]
I really hope Pujols comes to his senses and just retires. Sign a one week contract, throw him out there for a few at-bats for an at-home series, and then he can retire as a Cardinal. Very lucky to have lived in STL for three of his best years and went to about 80 games. I'll never forget the thrill of his at-bat anytime. Starting to feel that way about Arenado but just will never be the same as number 5. [Reply]

I’ve not been to a game at Bush since 2010 when I moved. Going back to visit family it’s usually at Christmas time.
I did make it to Arrowhesd and see Mahomes get the 50 TD’s/5000 yards record and clinch HFA sitting in Gblowfish’s seats. That was a very very cool experience. [Reply]

Edman being more consistent at the lead off spot. Carlson at #2, Goldy, Arenado and then next year, adding Gorman, this will be a legit lineup for the next couple of years. [Reply]

I will admit I wasn't convinced Edman was a big league player. He has not only been good in the lead off spot he has been stellar defensively.
The offense is till pretty spotty but that's really the case everywhere in MLB right now outside of the WhiteSox. [Reply]
