Yeah..and lets not rationalize that KC had the Donkos strapped to a 29-0 deficit late into the game..
You got your ass handed to you...own it.
Where was the #1 defense in the universe of all time that day?

7-9
I never rationalized anything, other than your comment about Alex Smith. That was a defensive battle, KC was 4 of 16 on 3rd down. 14 drives and only 6 had more than 5 plays. 8 of those drives started off in wonderful field position, thanks to the defense and turnovers... still walked away with a ton of FGs.
Yes, they won and the deficit was nasty, you'll always have that to put on your wall. [Reply]

I chuckled about calling the early 4th quarter 80 yard catch and run a "fluke", is that what Ward told the coaches after he picked up his jock? [Reply]

Having a team down 29-0 is NOT a defensive battle....:-)

No...It was a perfect play call and Smith threw a dart. West proceeded to completely torch Ward...who, out of frustration, got a PI call at the end of it for slamming a Chief player. [Reply]

Considering the field position thanks to turnovers and KC kicking 5 FGs as a result, I'll credit the defense there. They were playing with a short field all day. So yes, that's why I said a defensive battle. [Reply]
