And the hotels right by the stadium look to be overpriced and mediocre, but I could be convinced on those if others feel like it's a good experience.
Bang for your buck if you're in town for a couple days, I'd say downtown/Crown Center/Plaza areas. I just saw there's a Hampton Inn downtown, personally a fan of that chain.
I can probably give you a ride to/from the game, if not other CPers who are staying in whichever area you choose.... if not Lyft, which I'd recommend over Uber's price gouging during large events. [Reply]

Chances are we'll just be making it a quick trip (in late Saturday, flying back out right after the game), so I'm guessing we'll just find something along the route to/from MCI.
Appreciate the offer on the ride - I'll keep you posted on that front. Either way we'll probably not bother renting a car. It would cost us ~$200 plus the $60 for parking, so even stupidly expensive Uber rides would be a better option. [Reply]

That's kind of where I'm landing. I have trouble believing that $500 for nosebleeds is the best we can do... [Reply]

Agreed. I got 2 tickets in Sec 112 for $350/ticket on row 30 something for the 2020 AFC CG, and I got it on Friday, 2 days before the game. [Reply]

Yep, Thurs/Fri is the sweet spot for secondary market (or later if you really don'tcare where you sit, but tickets start drying up), plus the Chiefs will randomly release tickets throughout the week. [Reply]
I'm not going to the game - but a tad off topic - is there any places that you can get a reservation or pay to get a reservation for the AFC Championship? The last couple years it is really difficult to find a place that has room unless you show up 4 hours early. [Reply]
