Sean East is a pretty damn good get isnt he? This is a great sign that he can pull in these guys. Reminds me of what Drink did his first year here. [Reply]

Given how soft some of these non-con matchups can be, I really think 17 is a makeable target mark.
Though that may be overly ambitious given the state of the program at present. It's going to take some adjustment for these additions to get up to Power 5 sort of speed.
But some of these games they were losing against inferior mid-major competition last season should be games they win pretty easily given that even the more 'raw' kids they added out of the Horizon League and JUCO have been playing competition at/near that level. [Reply]

A 7'5" guy that's like a legit athlete is pretty impressive. [Reply]

Can't believe this hasn't been updated yet! Mizzou gets JUCO player of the year Sean East. Really really like what coach Green has done so far! [Reply]
So how good is Sean East supposed to be? Can anyone give me a list of all the players that have committed to Mizzou since the coaching change? I can't seem to find anything. [Reply]

RockMNation breaks it all down pretty well across the website but here's the most recent full update I can find from them:
They haven't done anything since then that I can recall. Losing out on Jamarion Sharp probably locked down the roster as he was a potential impact big that they really could've used. I don't see an obvious alternative still out there that Mizzou seems to be pursuing.
I think they're still short on shooting and don't understand someone like Honor at all, but I guess backup PG has value. I just don't see any upside there at all. In the end, when you cycle through 9 of your 12 players (and one of those 12 is just there to keep his brother from leaving), you're gonna have some roster chaff here and there.
I really thought they had Sharp, though. That one kinda sucks. I think he gets them near 18-19 wins. Without him I think they're looking at 14-15. But it's year 1 so we'll see how it goes. [Reply]
