Futures contract, bro. I don't think it's that serious. Hard to imagine they went through a "plan" for a guy they're treating as camp fodder. [Reply]
Yeah I don't like this. It's not like he was cut just because of that video. It's because he was trash AND he that video came out among his other legal troubles. Not much upside based on his previous play. [Reply]
Sigh. It says a lot about a person that they feel the need to make and post a video dropping death threats and n-bombs. Obviously more to the story, but damn dude...when will these fuckers learn? Social Media is their enemy.
I guess the organization knows what they are doing. But man...it's gonna be embarassing as hell for a long time. I've got a friend who is a Raider fan who will be all over me on this shit.
Whatever. We're the best team in the league. Hopefully this guy will get a wakeup call to his behavior by signing with a solid winning organization. But...I'm not looking forward to his press conferences... [Reply]

Exactly.
That video was the excuse the Raiders needed.
The guy was a shithead. You don't have to get it signed from witnesses in triplicate here - the RAIDERS cut him. The same Raiders with a dog-ass secondary who invested a 1st rounder in him. They know that guy backwards and forwards and had already sunk the cost of the signing bonus and rookie guarantees into him. And despite all that, they decided they were better off without him than with him.
And we're bringing that into the organization? That level of dickhead?
He had very clearly reached a point where his talent and production was far outweighed by the headaches he caused. And the team that made this determination is notorious for letting guys get away with stuff.
This is bad juju right here. No reason to have brought him in. Set aside any of the off-field stuff if you feel so inclined (though I wouldn't). He was AWFUL for the Raiders. Just absolute trash. And didn't the 'phins give him a look and get rid of him after the Raiders did?
I hope the guy gets cut before the league year even starts. It's just a futures deal so there's nothing real to it, but man - I hate even being attached to this dude. [Reply]
