Kansas City is trading its first-round pick Thursday night, along with three other picks in the 2021 and 2022 drafts, to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for Pro Bowl OT Orlando Brown and one pick in the 2021 draft and another in 2022, per sources.

Didn’t seem like he had a problem being the third option behind Evans and Godwin. [Reply]
So glad we didn't get Trent Williams. This is magnitudes better than signing a 32 year old dude to a 6 year contract. Give me a 24 year old Pro Bowl LT any day of the week! [Reply]
At his listed weight of 344 pounds, Orlando Brown, Jr., will apparently be the fifth-heaviest Chief ever and the second-heaviest starter ever. That would be an impressive feat for a left tackle.
1. TJ Barnes, DT, 355 pounds, active for 5 games in 2016 - no starts
2. Willie Jones, OT, 355 pounds, active for 18 games in 2001 and 2002 - no starts
3. Jared Gaither, OT, 350 pounds, active for 10 games in 2011 - no starts
4. Dontari Poe, NT, QB, RB, 346 pounds, active for 128 games from 2012 through 2016 - 125 starts. [Reply]

We aren’t signing anybody till after the draft, unless they won’t count on the comp pick formula.
I know it doesn’t seem like much, but we are due to get 1 or 2 picks next year and if we sign an eligible free agent, we not only don’t get that pick...the team that let the contract expire gets a pick.
I imagine the Tuesday after the draft will see some FAs sign deals. [Reply]

What 2 picks are we getting next year? Thuney eliminates one of them.

Good question. PFR lists him at 335. Wikipedia say 355, but I usually stick with PFR for comparisons. However, he was never active in a game for us so he doesn't count anyway. [Reply]

I hope Andy Reid invites Orlando Brown over for some racks of ribs. [Reply]

Who got signed? Watkins?
Would Damian Wilson count? He wasn’t cut I don’t think. I heard he signed somewhere. I’d think he would be a lock as a starter. Maybe Breeland? [Reply]
Pretty epic move by the Chiefs. I am pretty surprised Baltimore was willing to let KC have him, given KC’s status as a roadblock preventing Baltimore from getting to a Super Bowl. [Reply]

It depends on snaps and contract.
Watkins and Wilson are the only ones coming to mind. [Reply]
