Yeah, I had ESPN on one day and like 4 people said they were hating on the Chiefs.... must have been a difference ESPN because they were pretty complimentary of them. I guess it’s a difference of the local news vs national and simply the fact it’s not constant ballwashing and they actually talk about other teams. :-) [Reply]
They have to pump the bills. They can’t say practically for the 4th year in a row that the Chiefs are the best team and the only team beating them…is themselves. It’s bad for ratings . They have to say something! [Reply]
Between the fact that they failed to even mention the 17 game season and the odd break at 12+ points, I suspect cherry picking.... like there are several teams tied at 11 games that didn't make win the SB but only had 16 games to do it.
They also beat the Patriots by 12, which is why that's the cutoff... or else they fall to 11 in 17 (not 16).
But besides all that, they're clearly going to the Super Bowl given how they beat all those non-playoff teams (and the Chiefs) by at least 4 field goals! [Reply]
