I spent lots of time in Trego County and Wakeeney Ks. The Best Western Plus while working on rehab replacement of pavement of I 70 2 10 mile sections for KDOT. We had a blast, great people and you grow an appreciation for the high plains. I have no idea what the county jail is like but the state patrol city police and county sheriff were aok to us.
