INB4 Durant has a serious enough injury to keep him out of the rest of the playoffs and he signs a multi year extension with the Warriors because he feels he has unfinished business. [Reply]

If it goes seven I'd bet on him playing. They don't need him, TBH. Houston has Harden, Gordon, a scrub former star, and a few role players. Their deep shooting in the playoffs has been awful over a decent sample size.
I'm sure Houston will get the benefit of the doubt from the officials in Game 6, then in Game 7 Green will get away with thuggery and constant bitching, and Houston will brick a ton from deep and lose. [Reply]

Wouldn't that just make everyone remember that he joined a 73 win team in the first place who doesn't need him to win a championship? :-) [Reply]

That's my prediction as well. With or without KD, have to go Warriors in 7. Houston had their shot tonight to finally do it. Both teams knew it and Draymond/Curry stepped up and Harden/CP3 didn't. [Reply]

Yeah, but the Bucks/Raptors (two likable teams) can beat the Rockets. They can't beat the Warriors.
The rooting interest for a neutral is clear here. [Reply]

They need him to win this series. Curry\Klay will have to revert to their 2012-2014 mad bombers selves to have a chance because there is no one left on their team that can score consistently. You guys think CP3 is old and washed up Iggy is older than he is. And Draymond is a shell of his younger self. [Reply]

Iguodala is playing as well as he ever has. The only guy there of the four who has actually declined is Draymond and he just dominated the Rockets in the 4th tonight when it mattered. [Reply]

I like how Durant getting hurt is supposedly some huge blow to a team that won 73 games prior to him signing there. Atleast it makes things a little more interesting. The NBA really needed this. [Reply]

It's a different team than that team they had. This team is older and they have no bench at all. [Reply]
