Media Center>Game of Thrones Thread
BigRedChief 08:29 PM 01-08-2015
Feel free to discuss any future speculation, theories. Anything from the books is fair game to post. Everything that has been broadcast on TV or from HBO. No spoilers needed.

  1. If you watched or know the events that will take place in a unaired episode that has not been broadcast on HBO, you must put all the information and comments in a spoiler tag.
  2. Do not post any media of any kind involving actual content from unaired episodes without being in a spoiler. The only exception to the spoiler rule is content publicly posted from HBO and or the GOT actor themselves. Teasers, promos, trailers etc.

Any person unable to follow the spoiler rules will be banned from this thread. 14 days for first offense. Perm banned from the thread for a 2nd offense.

So Sunday should be fun, whether it's the daggers into the crow or lady stoneheart finally rising. Anticipating some epic youtube reactions.

How many people will quit if they kill off Snow? :-)

Exactly.

I don't think she's just some chick - I think she has some genuine 'power'. But it's not omniscience and some of that power is absolutely heightened through smoke and mirrors.

She's not a complete charlatan but there are definite limits to what she can do and even she knows that.

NO !@#$ING STONEHEART!

Though it is almost shocking to see Sansa's physical transformation at this point. Did anyone else notice that A) she has a huge rack now but B) she's built. It was especially obvious during the scene in the tub with the kennelmaster's daughter. He shoulders, back and chest are all quite muscular. I'm not sure if that was a happy accident or if the showrunners had her working out to make her become a 'true' northerner but the spoiled princess she was in the first season is just gone, even physically.

With the more gaunt facial features and makeup that's made her eyes appear more deeply set, they're definitely playing up the 'Sansa is Cat' angle. I suspect they can get a lot of what they'd get out of Stoneheart merely by having her escape Winterfell and go on a Frey killing spree. They've hardened her both mentally and physically at this point - it's not a stretch.

She's still got that "weapon" that she picked up....so who knows.

Should this thread even exist since there are essentially no more spoilers as the show takes a completely different direction than the books?

Yes. There is still knowledge that exists outside of the show, which we may speculate upon and could be considered, by some, to be spoilers.

"Go on and do your duty." Such a poetic form of last words for Stannis. I love it.

Huh. There are more plotlines still alive than I'd thought.

Of course. I just assumed they had abandoned Old Town and Arya being blinded at this point.

They probably should not have ended the season that way. Might drive off a lot of people.
