But I think he was as a mid 2nd into early/mid 3rd sort of guy without the injury.
One thing worth noting w/r/t Smith, though - he came back from his injury issues and played at an extremely high level. That would have served to lessen the injury concerns.
With Ross, people are still just leaning into a few games from his Freshman year when he's not done anything to demonstrate that even a 'healthy' version, post-injury, is that level of player anymore.
"Healthy" Justyn Ross wasn't great his sophomore year. And semi-healthy Justyn Ross wasn't even good his senior year. He looked like a 3rd/4th round guy.
