Penn State ran an Auburn fumble back for a TD... turns out the Auburn runner was down. No fumble. But the new rule in CFB is that unless it's under 5 minutes left, they don't put the lost time back on the clock. So all the time Penn State spent running it back counts. Who came up with that rule? Eat a dick back into obscurity Boise St! Some of the worst coaching and QB play I’ve ever seen. Let’s not hear about you for another decade or so, thanks. [Reply]
Army smashed UConn to remain the last undefeated service academy.
OU snuck off with an ugly win over the Shuckers.
OSU got saved by the refs for a win on the only field uglier than the Raiders' old baseball diamond.
Wins are wins, but two of those aren't much to celebrate. [Reply]

Watched the whole thing yesterday and it's crazy how much control CN had over that game with their rushing offense, how hard NWMSU had to work for 3+ quarters, and the Bearcats just didn't die. CN made some huge mistakes though. And yeah, that catch in particular was as crazy as the comeback.
I was a sophomore there at the time and watched most of it at my parents' house.. then had to leave for work during the first OT, record it on the VCR, and watch the rest at like 11pm while trying not to wake up the parents. It's been 20 years though, so I should just claim I was there.... [Reply]
