So, consistently making the tournament > than actually winning in the tournament.

Move them goalposts, homie. I mean...is it about winning or is it about making it?

Somebody better tell NU these titles don't count.

If you're comparing programs of this kind of level and history, it's obviously about both.

That's like people saying a team that makes the playoffs consistently yet never wins shit (Super Bowl) is in a different league and should be treated as such for not winning it all.

Arguing that Kansas won the 2020 title is as hilarious as UCF claiming the natty in football in 2017.

Split with Michigan. And it's stupid to claim you're the best when you don't play a game to determine the best.

Better argument would be 2003 USC/LSU.

We didn't split anything. Like so many other countless football programs last century, we were #1 in the AP and Coaches Poll at year's end.

Good thing regular season polls in basketball determine who the champion is, right?

If the point you're making is that the NCAA of crowning a champion historically, I agree. Like a quarter of Bama's claimed titles shouldn't count.

Recency bias and all that. Let's forget about everything that's ever happened in sports before last year.

The polls determined who the national champion was for a century in college football without a "championship game." Why wouldn't that be the case in basketball if such a game wasn't played?
