Kansas City is trading its first-round pick Thursday night, along with three other picks in the 2021 and 2022 drafts, to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for Pro Bowl OT Orlando Brown and one pick in the 2021 draft and another in 2022, per sources.
Great deal for you guys. You all need to get into the mindset, being a perennial SB contender, that your 1st round pick is now pretty much a 2nd round pick anyway, so dropping from #31 overall to #58 overall is not a big deal compared to what you're getting. Amazing QB, amazing weapons, solid D, excellent coaching, all done in by lack of an O-line in the SB... and for moving down 27 spots you just fixed most of that problem. [Reply]

We cut them, so what now?

What if we have to pay a shit ton to 34 year old (who is awesome now, but might decline)?

Are we going to sign JAGs like Okung or Villanueva?

I guess I hope a stud OT is available at 31, when everyone knows we have to pull that trigger.

What if we trade up? How much will it cost us to take a chance on someone?

Today. It's the best case scenario, tbh. I honestly prefer this to Trent Williams, because of the 10 year age difference and 2 years of player control. AND we get a another 2nd rounder for the cost of #31 + two mid round picks? AND we don't have to go into the draft with gaping hole at one of the most important spots?
I feel *SSSSSOOOOOO* much better now.
Very much an emotional rollercoaster, the Super Bowl left a scar on everyone... sooo many looming loose ends in need of being tied up
Yet suddenly here we are in the catbird seat, all before the draft

Mahomes will be looked at as the new Brady. Success brings haters. I know he probably means AFC destination etc, but at the end of the day, I’m telling ya, haters are gonna come in droves the more we sustain winning and continue to be in the AFC championship and super bowl. People hate seeing the same team in the dance year after year [Reply]
