Excited about an upcoming fight? Want to make predictions, or just give people a heads-up that there are some fights on? We can do it here.

(Also a good place to complain, dicuss, and agrue about the outcomes)

Looks like this will be the first women's flyweight bout. No championship plans announced yet.

LOL, Lorenzo Fertitta said this to John McCarthy backstage: "I never thought when I had a guy who was guaranteed 10 Million Dollars, that I'd have a problem."

That guarantee was only for UFC 200. Conor is not guaranteed that amount for UFC 201, 202, etc

If anyone is bored, Conor seems to be raging on twitter today, still trying to get on 200. Its been amusing.

LOL, Conor is delusional. He says that if he was on the card at UFC 200, they would have broken the Mayweather/Pacquiao PPV record of 4.4 million buys.

The UFC's current record is 1.6 million at UFC 100. Conor also said that his fight with Diaz at UFC 196 reached 2 million, but thats a flat-out lie.

The more he rambles on, the more I wish he'd just fade away.

Rumble/Glover should be fun. Piss before that one starts.

It seems like the UFC signed up with Fox only recently, but it was actually 2011, and there is only about 1.5 years left in their current TV deal. Its no coincidence they cleaned up their uniform with the Reebok deal.

There is going to be an enormous, epic bidding war between Fox and Disney for the UFC. Cord-cutting has become a lot more serious since 2011, Fox desperately needs to keep the UFC to keep people watching FS1.

I assume the Fertittas and Dana will keep most of the windfall, but it would be nice if some of that cash slips through their fingers and falls onto the fighters when they get their next TV deal.

The Sun is reporting that Conor McGregor is negotiating with Floyd Mayweather on a boxing match in Vegas. Conor would get 10 million, while Floyd would get the rest. Obviously Conor's contract with the UFC would forbid the bout, but I'm not sure if they can actually go to court to stop it.

The Sun is not the most reliable source in the world, but Conor's coach is dropping hints on twitter, so...

Just 10 million huh? He doesn't seem like a very good negotiator.

Ariel Helwani is firmly saying there is no truth to these rumors.

I also confirmed on another board with people who know about UFC contracts and the law that there is no way Conor can box in the United States without the UFC's permission. The UFC can easily get an injunction, only way Conor could fight without permission would be to go to a country that will not enforce his contract.

edit:

A) McGregor has a UFC contract. He can't just go fight Mayweather. And b) do you really think he would agree to those pay terms? C'mon now.

edit:

If he's an independent contractor he can effectively do what he wants. Courts are going to side with The fighter. The WWE has learned this the hard way.
