I don't know WTF Illinois was doing. They're morons.
If they're going to slow down UConn and specifically Clingan, it will take pressure from the guards. I don't know WTF Barnes was doing letting Purdue get whatever passing angle they wanted to Edy, even after he passed it out and reposted. I'm not sure I've ever seen anything quite like that. Clingan isn't as good as leverage in the post, but he's a lot more mobile than Edy. And unfortunately for Alabama, UConn is really good at keeping the offense moving making it more difficult to defend passing lanes. It's a really tough ask. Especially if they're hitting from distance, UConn is a really fucking tough out.
I think the better answer is pace and spacing. Clingan doesn't get a ton of minutes anyway (He averages in the low 20s) if you can make him run and keep those minutes lower, that would be my plan. [Reply]
UConn is frightening. 30-0 run... made it look so easy.
Edey can obvious be Edey, but UConn has a guy to slow him and Purdue will need his 150% + a much better 3-point showing than they had today to even be competitive.
Purdue needs it's 90th percentile or better game to win, and that's possible. But of course, NC State first.
(The wife and I re-watched the 30 for 30 Jimmy V episode a couple nights ago and there will be no disappointment in our house if Purdue loses to that team.) [Reply]

How did this get down voted? UConn is on a historical run. It will take a miracle on ice like upset to beat them [Reply]
