So there's an article on NFL network saying that Orlando Brown is expected to sign for 6 years $145 mil.
That comes to $24.16 mil/yr and makes him the highest paid offensive lineman in football. It also would give him the 19th highest salary per year in the NFL
How would you feel if that is the contract he ended up signing?
I'm fine with it. He is a top 5 LT and he's only 26 next season. A young great LT is a guy you can't let leave. [Reply]

But how much football IQ do you need to have to think that pass rushers are going to come up field harder when they don't have to worry about Lamar taking off?
And what was the upside of the heavier weight? Slightly better run blocking and slightly better against the bull rush? [Reply]
This guy is not going to be happy with a franchise tag. I worry if he does play and that's a big if he'll probably half-ass it, even if it is in his best interest to play well. [Reply]

First thing I thought of too. Face it, he’s prob the 10th best player at his position. The Chiefs are about to hand him the fattest deal any offensive lineman’s ever seen. Tough pill to swallow [Reply]
