I think he's a better shooter than he's shown at KU. Shot pretty damn well at Drake, and rained a bunch of threes on the USC team that blew out KU in the tourney. Not sure what happened there, but he definitely didn't get the chance to get into rhythm often. [Reply]

They do have space, but we have seen zero from Cuffe to assume that he’ll ever be a contributor.
That said, we’ve seen zero from him. If Self keeps him around, then I’ll trust him. [Reply]
Cuffe looked like the worst player I’ve ever seen in the few early season minutes he got this year. That may mean nothing but it probably means something. [Reply]

I didn't see what he looked like at Drake but his shots always seemed to be off balanced or rushed. Looked like an issue with mechanics more than anything to me. [Reply]

He had an amazing 5 game stretch at Drake toward the end of the year where he went an absurd 24/41 from 3 including the USC game. Outside of that? 24/84 for the entire season. Probably an outlier if you make as many threes in 5 games as you did in your previous 84 attempts. [Reply]

Yeah who cares about a guy who never played and would never play

I think Udeh has tons of potential, and Zuby is ridiculously athletic, but neither are really that inside presence like Withey or Dok were.
And the lack of depth at the 5 really hurt us this year.
The guards/wings we have coming next year are really talented, but I think Marcus Adams is the tallest at 6'7"
Doke and withey weren't dominant as freshmen, either. [Reply]
Our tournament crowd is a lot different than the home crowd at AFH. Opposing fan bases seem to bring a different energy than our $2,500k donors who get offered our first and second round tickets.
I think lower donor levels get offered more regional and final 4 tickets. But it's different when you are splitting sessions with 8 schools represented, rather than 4. I wonder if we don't need to help our players understand that, because it's different than what they are used to. Especially younger guys. [Reply]
Actually what the Williams fund brochure that came in the mail today states is:
Big 12 tourney $300
Final 4 plus above $2500
Regional plus above $10k
1st and 2nd plus above $50k
I think lower get offered some, but only guaranteed at those levels. I got decent big 12 seats and I only donate $100. But on top of above, you also pay for your tix. So these aren't your average fans. [Reply]
For those considering, it's worth the investment. They make it easy to sell on stubhub, and you only have to sell about half the games to break even on the lower priced options. [Reply]
