if we could sign mcduffie for ten years now i would, and i was not sold on him at the beginning.
he doesn't need ten int's a year to be effective. and i think this is where i differ with george. he NEEDS ten plus sacks to make an impact. i haven't watched any clips lately, but i feel from memory, he gets eaten up a bit on the outside. [Reply]
Typically I prefer EDGE rushers to Corners. Why? EDGE rushers are more valuable. And they age significantly better. EDGE guys don't typically start to see drop off until about age 31 or 32. Corners start to usually see drop off beginning at age 27 or 28. They age like absolute milk.
Corners are in their prime from age 23 to 26. Get them cheap on the rookie deal. Then tag and trade. Rinse and repeat. Get out before you are stuck with an aging corner . [Reply]

if he carries that playoff performance into next season he's going to be a monster [Reply]

No way we should give Karlaftis $30 million per on a 4/5 year deal. Give the top of the market money to McDuffie. He can shut sown the others team best receiver. Thats some cap money well spent. [Reply]

McDuffie is no match for AJ Brown 1 on 1. Just doesn't have the size. He's the best slot corner in the NFL. But what he is not is Patrick Surtain II. [Reply]

You’re quickly climbing the charts of ‘dumbest mother fucker on this board’ rankings. [Reply]

I agree with you on this.
McDuffie is excellent, but he has limitations, and they do sometimes show up.
Not long ago, people on this board said McDuffie is better than Derek Stingley, so tread with caution. [Reply]

There isn’t a player in the NFL who doesn’t have some form of kryptonite. Thuney can stonewall any DT in the league but throw him out on the edge and he’s toast. Mcduffie can lock down 99% of the leagues receivers for 99% of the time.
You can’t say Surtain would shut down Brown because they’ll probably never play each other. [Reply]

To be honest with you, I really, really love McDuffie. He is the best slot corner in the NFL. He is one of the best coverage, blitzing and tackling corners in the NFL.
What he is not is a true, lockdown #1 corner. The reason why he slid to 21 in the draft was because he wasn't big enough to ever become an island type corner. Stingley is better than McDuffie, flat out.
It's on tape. The tape is the truth. He cannot cover AJ Brown. [Reply]
