I feel like setting the Maronis on fire was a bit of a clue, fellas.
Almost like the writers realized "oh...yeah, he might be getting a little too sympathetic here. Let's go ahead and have him torch a woman so we can remind people that this is a REALLY bad dude..."
It was kinda like in Barry when the writers were getting annoyed at how the audience was responding to Barry so they had him do some kinda heinous shit.
I mean...you can't say the writers didn't try to warn ya.

And left him there like garbage.
I'd have liked to have seen Oz give Vic a good amount of cash to leave town. Like "Take this, kid, and leave Gotham tonight because if you stay, I'm afraid of what I might do to ya. Go to California with your dame and get as far away from me as possible!"
To me, that still establishes him as a monster but gets Vic out of there. But alas, the way they did it is more memorable and will go down as one of the coldest and saddest moments in recent television history

That's just far more thoughtful than you'd ever see from Oz. He's entirely impulse. From shooting Alberto to killing his brothers, he simply acts then deals with the consequences. Telling Vic to get out of town would've been out of character for him.
Felt terrible for Vic but could see that coming a mile away. In order to be a Batman rogue, you basically have to be one of the most mentally ill people on the planet lol [Reply]
